From the Post-Gazette:
The Seneca Valley School Board tonight rejected a proposal by striking teachers that would have ended a strike that began Oct. 15.
School board members voted unanimously against the proposal from the teachers, who by law must end their strike by Nov. 16.
The teachers proposed a two-year agreement that would have provided raises of 4 percent each year.
The board's vote was greeted by a chorus of boos by the 200 people at the meeting.
