As of this past Tuesday, Hereford & Hops in Cranberry has closed. This past December the restaurant filed for bankruptcy and tried to stay open through reorganization. The other two out-of-state locations remain open.

That does not surprise me. My wife and I did not like the idea of spending that kind of money, only having to help ourselves to a salad bar and have to pay extra if you wanted to have a chef prepare your steak. For us, going out to eat is to not have to cook. Hopefully something better will come to town. Do you think Cracker Barrel would fit........I know they want to build out on 19.
Farewell, Hereford & Hops, you won't be missed by us.
Well I really liked the place and to make matters worse I belonged to their mug club so I am out $50 + my mug. AND I had left over gift cards.
cracker barrel? now there is a classy place.
how about something actually good that values food quality and isnt some low rent chain like the rest of those places around there.
thank you for posting this. I agree with "ninelives". it had a great bar, but the rest was nothing to shout about.
I do hope that a brewpub of some sort takes its place -- something unique, but unlike H&H. any word on what might go in there?
cracker barrel is still supposed to go where that old hotel was on 19, near the turnpike exit. looking forward to getting my favorite french toast there!
To the guy with left over giftcards. Maybe you could list them on ebay. A lot of people sells gift cards they dont want or need on there.
There is a John Harvards in monroeville, we could use one of those here.
rock bottom has their own beer and good food too.
