Tribune-Review: Teachers unprofessional?
Labels:

teacher strike
From an editorial in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review today:
Greedy strike: Never mind that Seneca Valley teachers are the highest paid in Butler County. They want more. In fact, they want so much more over the next five years -- a cumulative salary increase in excess of 30 percent -- that the school board said no way. So, the teachers went on strike Monday, shafting 7,600 students and parents. And these teachers want to be known as "professionals"?
